Improving access to everyday medicines

In addition to accelerating access to prescribed medicines, we actively develop appropriate products that are available without a doctor's prescription. These important over-the-counter (OTC) medications reach a much broader population. In Russia and India, for example, our strong OTC portfolio contains some of the most trusted brands in the industry such as Cetrine, Nise gel, Ibuclin and Novigan, to name a few. In the US, we recently acquired Habitrol, an over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapy transdermal patch. We make and market OTC medicines in the areas of pain management, dermatology and allergy management areas, and gynecology. In the coming years, we will continue to explore offering OTC versions of our generic products as regulations allow.
